COVID-19 Updates

April 6, 2020

We are CLOSED PHYSICALLY, but now OPEN VIRTUALLY

The Alexander & Martin Orthodontics physical locations are currently CLOSED due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. To maintain proper social distancing and save needed masks and gloves for first responders we can only treat true orthodontic emergencies at this time. However, in an effort to honor our commitment to your orthodontic care and well being, we are now offering VIRTUAL VISITS.

Prior to your next scheduled appointment, you will receive a text reminder that you are due for your virtual visit. Please follow the prompts and submit your photos within 48 hours so that our clinical team can guide you through your treatment process. Feel free to visit ambraces.com to learn more!

Stay healthy,

We here at Alexander & Martin Orthodontics are well aware of the current situation for our team, for our community, and most importantly . . . for our patients.

After careful consideration, we have decided to CLOSE OUR OFFICE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY THROUGH MARCH 29, 2020.

This decision was not an easy one. As you know, our patients are our foremost concern. Patient safety, the health and safety of our staff, and recommendations given by the California Dental Association led to this difficult decision.

Thank you so much for your support and understanding during this difficult time. We feel blessed to be part of such an amazing community. We take comfort knowing we will get through this together. We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.
Thank you and be well!

The Alexander & Martin Orthodontics Team

Dear AMO parents and families,

We are taking additional steps to ensure that our patients and team are protected during this rapidly changing situation.

As always, we will continue to follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for infection control. During this time, we ask that you help us by participating in the following additional precautions:

  1. If you are not feeling well or have traveled abroad to a high-risk area, please contact our office and reschedule your appointment.
  2. Please minimize the number of people in our office by only having one parent accompany the patient. Please avoid bringing friends, siblings, and other family members with you. Some appointments may be done virtually via Zoom. If you are interested in a Zoom appointment, please contact our office.
  3. We will eliminate the use of the check-in computers. Please check in verbally with our front desk team members upon entering.
  4. We will be practicing social distancing. We will not be shaking hands. We have eliminated magazines, cookies, video game systems and other communal items in our reception area for the protection of our patients.
  5. Please brush your teeth prior to your appointment. We would like to minimize the use of our brushing stations.
  6. We will text/call the parent/guardian after the patient’s appointment to schedule their next visit with our office. We can also review treatment progress via text/call upon request.

In closing, the safe care of our patients is of utmost importance. We are all hopeful that this will soon be in the past. For future updates, we encourage you to monitor our website and social media. If you have any questions or concerns, please Text / Call / Email our office at (916) 630-0306 or info@ambraces.com. Thank you for your understanding during these uncertain times – keep smiling!
